Our People

Tijana Cvetkovic - art conservator

Tijana Cvetkovic is an experienced conservator who has worked and studied art conservation in Italy, Eastern Europe and New Zealand.

From 2001 Tijana was a gallery assistant at the Adam Art Gallery in Wellington. In 2004 she moved to the art conservation department at The Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa, to assist the painting conservator. She then headed to Florence, Italy, to study painting conservation at l’Istituto del’Arte e del Restauro. In 2007 she did a summer internship at the National Museum of Serbia as part of her thesis topic on Eastern European icons. In 2008 she returned to New Zealand and participated on two projects at Te Papa Tongarewa before joining Studio Carolina Izzo in late 2008.

Tijana graduated in 2003 from Victoria 
University with a BA in Art History and a BCA in
Marketing and Commercial Law.
